Soulful Chicken and Waffles

Picture this.... a Saturday night.... you walk out of the club next door..... and this waffle spot becons! Intrigued we inquired inside. To our surprise we find late night hours, waffles, and chicken! And everything was amazing!! We ordered the red velvet waffles, the lemon pound cake waffles ( my personal fav), and the orginal. The chicken and oxtails was perfection. The hostess was the sweetest. The vibes immaculate. They are bringing a much needed experience to addison for anytime of the week that you crave vibes, amazing soul food and just that southern hospitality! We will definitely be back!

Came here around 1:30am on a Friday night and was definitely needing food on my tummy! I got all sides and none of them disappointed! The greens have a little kick and are perfect! Sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese were spot on! The music felt like I was at a family get together! Shared with my friends so I didn’t get a picture before we started digging in!

Just happened across the restaurant on a Friday evening for dinner and it was delicious! I had the lemon pound cake waffles and my friend I was with had the OG waffle and both were so light and crispy and just the perfect waffle. We also both got the Mac and cheese and green beans and the green beans were THE BEST I think I’ve ever had. Chicken also had amazing flavor (just kind of sadly wish they had a boneless option) but still very very good. Vibes were fun as well and they had some soulful R&B playing which just made for a fun atmosphere!

It was 2 a.m., and some friends and I were liking for a place to eat and came across this spot that happened to be open. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting—with great music setting the vibe just right. The owner greeted us and gave some solid recommendations. We all ordered different dishes, but I went with the fried catfish meal, paired with greens and dirty rice—and it came with cornbread too. When I tell you that food was **ABSOLUTELY AHHHHMMMMAAAAZZZZIIINNNGGG—I mean it! One of my friends only ordered sides at first since she wasn’t sure how everything would taste. Well, she ended up taking one of my catfish fillets and most of my rice! She liked it so much, she ordered to-go plates for both of us (though she forgot hers—I didn’t!). Every single dish

Went here last night with friends around 2 in the morning and Did not expect to get a full fledge meal that late. I had the 6 wings with fries and they were the perfect size not too big not too small. I also the collard greens which are to die for and the dirty rice. Everything was seasoned just right! I will definitely be back it was so much other stuff I wanted to try after loving what I ordered. The owner was super welcoming and nice as well something that has become hard to find these days. 10/10
