Mama's Fried Chicken

💯😁👍 I dont know where these bad reviews came from, but this chicken is good! Flavorful and good chicken, tasted fresh and good! The gumbo was good too, just so small a container, not worth 5.00. The small is actually just a taste, not to really eat gumbo! Restaurant is busy!! 2 drive thru lanes and they got that line moving!!! Inside and outside is quick! The biscuits were not really biscuits, more of a bread texture to me. They are huge! And good, but too large! Employees were all very kind and nice! They got a good system going and it works! Don't change! Everything was clean in the restaurant and parking areas were clean and plenty! Try them! They were very delicious!

Some of the best fried chicken I've had anywhere. The sides were really good and probably the biggest biscuit you can just about get anywhere, so buttery good.

I came to the New Iberia location of Mama's Fried Chicken today March 2nd, 2026 at 12:25 pm. There was a little bit of a line when I came in. I ordered the four pieces mixed with fries and a biscuit. The food was good and the service was great. The cashier also made sure I was enjoying my lunch. I will be back if I'm ever in Da Berry.

Our first time eating here was great. We had the chicken, beans, and mashed potatoes. Well seasoned and delicious. The staff was very friendly, and we got our food very quickly considering how busy they were. New customers will love this place.

Mamas fried chicken is legit. Everything I tired is a 10/10 no joke. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and seasoned right! Biscuits were soft, buttery and actually big. The red beans taste like my own momma made them. The chili ain't fake, and the fries are addicting. Real comfort food, done right.
