We tried this place last night, had lasagna with ceaser salad and ravioli with tuscony soup. Loved the lasagna, good portion as well, The ceaser was a little a bit of a pain to eat because the large thin cheese slices didn't want to cut with the fork but it tasted good. My wife loved her ravioli but she really loved the soup, she said she will order a larger soup as her meal next time because it was so good. Its her favorite soup from any restaurant. Atmosphere is kinda weird, there are painted murals on the walls but if I hadn't known beforehand what the place served, I would have thought it would be a Mexican restaurant. There is plenty of space for seating though, that's a huge plus. Staff was super friendly and polite. Waitress checked on us often. You pay the check up front not at t
This is not what Italian food is supposed to taste like. My husband's family came off the boat. The baked penne looked old. Cheese was hard and crusty and the pasta was way overcooked and was practically mush. It looked like it was old and microwaved. The garlic bread isn't even fresh bread, can tell it's previously frozen. Chicken Rosa Maria tasted old and the mushrooms are canned. Bruscetta is like canned tomatoes and thats it. No garlic, no basil, no balsamic. If you're gonna open an Italian restaurant, make sure it's Italian. Not canned, frozen, etc. I get it's different in Lewisburg so everyone is raving about it. But no.
We had different dishes including the Cajun shrimp pasta; pasta pescatore and steak Marsala — everything was so good! Fresh and homemade — delicious! Caesar salads were great and the tiramisu for dessert? Heavenly! We were in from out of town and asked a few locals if they’d ever heard of Mana Mia’s (aka a woman working in the antique shop right next door …) and they all said “no can’t say I have … or no … never heard of it … maybe it’s new? Maybe it closed.” It’s twilight zone ish that locals don’t know this restaurant exists on a busy main road. It’s clearly marked! lol 🤣 Anyway, we were happy with the food, the friendly service and the overall atmosphere. Drinks and dessert for 3.
The atmosphere is clean and bright. The smell of fresh home cooked Italian food hits when you walk through the door. Not a hint of deep fried grease or musty odor at all. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. They are smiling and happy to help with any odd request even going so far as to make fresh coffee at 7pm for a customer who normally works night shift and just woke up. The calamari was perfectly cooked without any lingering grease or oil, with the perfect texture. The lasagna which was second only to home made after hours in the kitchen. The creamy penne pesto Chicken pasta, which was bright and decadent with a soft creamy texture and fresh grilled chicken placed neatly on top. The garlic bread, placed properly to sop up the leftover sauce was fresh and buttery without being sog
Ordered the special, Cajun pasta. It came with bread (a piece of Texas toast)🙄 and soup or salad. Pasta was too spicy for my hubs but just right for me, the sauce was a bit runny but overall had good flavor. The sausage and shrimp were cooked just right. Not thrilled with Texas toast for an Italian restaurant….but it’s Lewisburg. We chose the creamy Tuscan soup for the side which had great flavor and for dessert a piece of tiramisu. Not my favorite, it was a blob and not very “put together” for a to go dish. It was sopping wet with espresso and the cream itself wasn’t the best ever but I look forward to trying their cannoli on our next trip.
