Mama Lor's Lake Road

I was introduced to Mama Lor’s about two months ago by a friend and now I can’t get enough of it. What a great find! The atmosphere feels warm and homey, and the food absolutely delivers. Their blue cheese is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are outstanding, especially paired with that incredible blue cheese. And the Mediterranean Pasta? Simply heaven. Portions are generous, everything tastes made with care, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Truly a great spot. You can’t go wrong here.

Even as a party of six, they seated us immediately. The variety of food was perfect for us because we all prefer different things. I got the mini fish fry with veggies and Cole Slaw (pictured). Another friend got a sandwich (pictured). The food was fresh and real tasting. We were inside, but there is also outdoor seating available.

This is a nice place. It’s clean, modern, and welcoming. We came here today for the fish fries. That caused a dilemma for me. Beer battered or panko breading? After asking the bartender her advice it was still up in the air. So my wife got the beer battered and I got the panko. The food came out and the test began. Both were very good but I have to tip my hat to the beer battered. It was a bit more crunchy. Both didn’t separate from the coating and didn’t get “water logged” after sitting. We both chose the union spuds for a side which are square covered seasoned home fry like potatoes. Very good. The coleslaw was more mayo focused than vinegar so it wasn’t my preference. I’d come here again and next time I’ll come hungry and try the Monster fish fry!

Always have fantastic food and service. The bartenders are wonderful. This is my go-to spot with friends for brunch and for Friday night fish fries. Big fan of their wings and their meatloaf as well. And the 104 pothole is always my go-to for breakfast.

Super cute and clean space, airy and open. A nice patio area out front for a nice day like today. Servers super friendly. Had the best Buffalo cauliflower “wings” I’ve ever had, by far. Very good apple pecan blue cheese salad. Only complaint was the boyfriend’s steak on his salad was very tough. Otherwise , liked it a lot and will definitely come back. Didn’t realize there was a bar inside and interested to see if they decide to stay open a little later and have some live music which would be perfect.
