Mama Leah's Pizza

Used to be my favorite kosher pizza in Baltimore. But ever since the Chef Dan merger, the restaurant hasn't seemed able to re-find its footing. The pizza is inconsistent at best, and you have to specify that want the old-style fries if you don't want the Chef Dan recipe (and as this is not on the menu, it has led to plenty of mistaken orders). I am only giving three stars due to my very fond memories of what the restaurant used to be, though I am hopeful that in the future I will be able to come back and change this rating.

I can’t speak to food and atmosphere so I left them mediocre. But I ordered a delivery order and it took over an hour and half for a location 14 minutes away. I understand it takes time to make and drivers have multiple stops. However, after calling the driver and got no answer, I called the store and they were anything but helpful. They said that’s on “Chownow” and they can’t do anything. I asked if they could remake the food and I’ll pick it up and they said they’re kitchen closed 9 minutes earlier. I asked for any refund or concession as I still needed to eat, and they told me to contact Chownow and didn’t give me a phone number or any support. Mama Leah's Pizza is not a fancy place, but this place exceeded my expectations for a pizza place in a strip mall. I came in for a slice of pizza. The pizza was as close to a New York pizza as I've ever had in Baltimore. 11/30/25 I just tasted Mama Leah's French fries. They're the best fries in Baltimore County. 2/17/25 Had pizza and lentil soup, both excellent. Good service. Free parking lot, wheelchair accessible, kid friendly. ²The place is clean and neat. Service is prompt and efficient. The place is kosher. I'll be back. They even sell upscale ice cream. I definitely recommend Mama Leah's Pizza.

Severely understaffed for Sunday lunchtime. 1 person trying his best for take out & dine in. Greek salad offered after order but no olives, feta cheese nor tomatoes!!!caesar salad came with no dressing. You can’t expect good service when 1 person is trying to do everything especially with 3 large families dining in at once + take out. Highly disappointing.

I tried the chicken quesadila, and it was really good. It was very fresh and a great option for a healthy, delicious meal. The staff are friendly and nice. Reasonably priced as well. Note: they have 3.5% credit card surcharge in case that affects your choice of payment method.
