Mama K’s

Fantastic and friendly ice cream shop. They also play blue grass and jazz there every Saturday afternoon (starting around 1 pm give or take). If you play, they would be happy to have you join them!

If you're ever in Raton, NM this place is a must! I ate an amazing non-traditional banana split. Mama K is SO welcoming, friendly, and let me tell you... this woman has a beautiful voice! Not only great ice cream but one of the only places in this town for entertainment. We stayed about 3-4 hrs just vibing on the local music played in the shop. Thank you for making my visit such a memorable time out while visiting family!

Lots of fun flavors of really yummy ice cream. Mama K is so friendly. She chatted with us about her shop while her husband was jamming outside on the sidewalk. What a sweet little spot. Definitely try it out.

No place in Raton or within 100 miles can touch the sweetness of Kimberly's place. Stop by and inhale some sweets. An ice cream sundae or banana split sounds about right for dealing with the stress of today's world. Join in and smile.

What a charming little ice cream shop! It was a friendly, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Very accommodating for kids too. There were so many good flavor choices it made it hard to decide. Everything we tried was really good, but the salted butter pecan my husband got was the winner!
