I've found my new favorite spot! 🍗🍋 Had the most incredible meal at Mama Birds Southern Kitchen by Ascent Hospitality Group in Jordan Landing and I'm already planning my next visit. Let's talk about the fried chicken tenders~ Seriously, if this recipe ever got out, it would be game over for all the fast-food chains. They were that good! Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The only thing that could make them better? Management handled a problem with one of our dishes quickly. The food was really good and everything seems to be made in house. The Mac n cheese was tasty, as well as their batter on the fried chicken, chicken strips, and fried pickles. The sweet tea is crazy good, and their gingerbeer flight was fun - the jalapeño one is intense and definitely something I'd get in the future to knock out a cold. Overall I'd love to come back and everything was yummy.

I have to say this is probably one of the best experiences at a restaurant that I've ever had. The staff was so kind and courteous to answer all questions about the food and the establishment. The food was absolutely fantastic and came out fresh. After talking with the GM and finding out that a lot of their food is locally sourced it makes me feel better. I highly recommend this place!

Kerri- you are incredible. If you get the pleasure of being seated in her section, prepare for the best service!! I’ve been driving past this spot for a while and got the opportunity to come today. Let me tell you. So SO delightful. From the moment I walked in to when we left.. everyone was amazing. I got the pork belly and grits. That peach drizzle, heavenly. My friend got the brisket sweet potato hash. It looked delectable. We rounded out our day with the watermelon lemonade mimosa. That.. is straight out of summer time. I would come back for that ALONE. We will be back. Lots of dietary mods, my husband is GF so we will be back to adventure with that.

LOVE how the place is decorated. Food was good. Loved the sauce for the hush puppies and the brisket didn’t even need sauce. Service was good, still learning. Can’t wait to see where this place goes over time!
