I can’t believe my husband and I have been driving to Honolulu to have Thai food for dinner when Malai Thai Kitchen has been in Wahiawa all along! I tried it for the first time tonight as take-out and I’m writing my review right away because I’m floored. The service was very quick; I called to place an order for pickup, and it was ready in 10 minutes. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, which is great because there is ample parking. There was no wait for me to pick up once I arrived, and the cashiers were incredibly nice. I would definitely come back to dine in, as the restaurant itself was very bright and clean. A little hole in the wall with only a sign on the door to mark the spot. Very clean, fast, and outstanding food. As a Thai food enthusiast, one of the better spots I've been to. I had the papaya salad and chicken larb and enjoyed both a lot. Seemed like the kind of place that cares about doing their food well.

ame here for a friend's birthday and overall positive experience. They were able to seat our large group, service was polite and friendly and dishes were well prepared. Good local spot.

Some of the best Thai food I've had. Pad Kee Mao & Pineapple fried rice with seafood. Seasoned perfectly! Clean plate delicious. Very tasty, fast, friendly service. Worth the trip!

My son has a T-shirt he wears on his birthday that says “All I want is fried rice!” So I researched online and found Malai Thai! We all agree that this was the best fried rice we’ve had in years. Five stars easy! It’s basically the only place to go for fried rice, you won’t be sorry. Now we want to try their other dishes! Great local spot.
