Customer Reviews
Absolutely favorite sushi on island! Love the Dragon Fire and Honey rolls. And they are giant! Excellent value and amazing customer service! The owner is the sweetest.
Tucked away on the same level as McDonald’s in Aiea, this sushi spot is a place where locals go. It might be easy to miss, but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. There’s convenient parking, and while there’s no indoor seating, the outdoor tables make for a casual vibe. Service is impressively quick, and the portion sizes are generous—ordering just one roll can be a lot for one person. If you’re with friends, I highly recommend sharing a few different rolls to get the full experience. The staff (or possibly the owner) was incredibly kind and helpful. He let me know the fresh ahi was sold out for the day, but offered great suggestions for other rolls to try. Prices are fair, especially considering the portion sizes and Hawaii’s cost of living. If you’re in the area, this spot is a
This is a literal hole in the wall, easy to miss in a covered parking lot near the McDonald’s. There’s outdoor seating, pretty much right in the parking lot. Food quantity is high and the sushi rolls have some of the lowest ratios (in a good way) of rice to non-rice. The fried food was very good, not too greasy with a great crunch and the food tasted very fresh. Service was exceptionally friendly. The nice man that took our order and served us even brought out some free bottles of water for us. I love finding places like this that feel like it’s locals, for locals.
This was the best sushi me and my husband have ever had! and we have had a lot of sushi. Not only were the rolls top tier but the man who helped us (assuming the owner) was SO KIND. He brought us out some delicious gyoza, on the house. For no reason. You hardly ever see that unless "something went wrong". But nope, our entire experience was great. We cannot wait to be back.
Best sushi I’ve ever had. Great price for the quality AND quantity. The rolls themselves are huge. The fish is incredibly fresh. 100% worth going to. All 8 rolls we tried were phenomenal with their pairings (fish, sauce, toppings/garnishes etc - every combination was great). Wait time was not too long at all for such a big order! No seating inside the establishment but there are a few tables outside! Did not have any issues finding a parking space.
