Paul’s communication and attention to detail showed a level of professionalism that truly stands out. He is helping set a strong standard for professionalism in African restaurants and catering services. Most importantly, the food was delicious. The light goat soup was a big hit, and the shito was my personal favorite. I wish Makay Chop Bar & Catering continued growth and success as the business scales. The food we had catered was amazing! From the Sobolo drink to the beef kebobs jelloff rice and fried fish. Pickup was fast and easy, I was so grateful he was kind and strong to help arrange all the food in the car nicely and even allowed us to borrow the igloo freezer until we could get it back to them.

Makay Chopbar catered my wedding last weekend and everything was a hit! Our menu included jollof with veggies, spring rolls, plantains, meatpies, grilled chicken, tomato goat stew, beef suya, and egusi! We barely had leftovers and all the guests raved how flavorful, tender, hot, and delicious the food was to honor my husband’s culture. It was a joy to see folks who never had this food going back for seconds and even grabbing to-go containers. The communication was impeccable and the chef accommodated special requests for food preparation to use traditional ingredients.
