Mainstreet Cafe

I delivered to the area and found my way to Sandusky afterward. Talked to a few people and asked where a good breakfast place was. Both said MainStreet Cafe. Off I went. Walked in and was met by a great personality by the name of Michele, who was also my waitress. I opted for the Southern Omelet and wheat toast. Take a look at the pic. HUGE Omelot with black coffee and toast....Only TEN bucks! I enjoyed the people here and the food. Nice Find. Thank you Michele, and MainStreet!

I absolutely cannot believe this restaurant literally closes down for catering. Every weekend like clockwork, they close. Don't depend on this place being open. Call ahead.

If I could give zero stars, I would! I decided to try a small-town, sit-down diner for Mother's Day with my mom because I enjoy supporting local businesses—but I'll never return to this one. At first glance, the place was very outdated. There were no signs indicating whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We waited about five minutes before a waitress came over to ask what we would like to drink. She brought our drinks, asked if we wanted menus, and handed us a single, printed page that looked hastily thrown together. We were told there were "limited options," but in reality, the only option was the buffet at $13.95 per person. We glanced at the buffet before deciding to try it—it looked decent, but looks were deceiving. The breaded mushrooms bizarrely tasted like French toast.

Good food Great wait staff Lots of seating And food choices on the menu Been coming here for over 20 years Never any complaints And I ordered the jalapeno burger, but got it on a pretzel bun which normally doesnt come with and it was delicious And they serve breakfast all day long which most people love I would recommend to anyone!

The service was good and friendly. The meals were very delicious at a good price! The food also came quick. :)
