Overall, it was a good experience. My cocktail was delicious, and they had a good drink selection. The hand cut fries were delicious, definitely a must try. My homemade spaghetti was delicious. However, I ordered it with bolognese sauce, and that was interesting. It was not red sauce with ground beef but rather what looked like beef cut into tiny pieces. It tasted like beef stew with spaghetti noodles. Best way I can describe it. You can kind of see what I'm talking about in the picture. My husband had a cheese pizza and said it was decent but thinks he'd get something else next time. Other than that, the service was great, and the atmosphere was cute. If in the area, I'd stop by again, especially for those fries and cocktail (p.s. get the hippie juice).
Worst dining experience in a long time. Food was awful with no flavor for what food they had to offer. Cook screwed up several orders. Then there is the poor management because they let their liquor license expire so its a dry tavern . Went there to celebrate my daughter birthday and regretted it from the start. The table and chairs wobbled. And to add insult to injury i made a reservation to have a shitty experience. Service was great and she knew we weren't happy. Can safely say I will never return or recommend this place. Hope you have better luck there but don't hold your breath.
Kind of found this place on a whim. I was in the mood for poutine but didn't want to head to the Big E. I found out that they serve it and decided to go. The poutine was excellent. The best I've had outside of Canada. A bit more black pepper and it would have been perfect. That was an easy fix with the shaker that was on the table. The gravy had a nice strong beef flavor and was nice and thick. The portion was more than enough for one person. So much so, that I barely ate the homemade potato chips that I wanted to try too. The chips were good, but slightly overdone for my tastes. The dipping sauce that came with them was kind of bland. My blueberry beer was excellent and so was the service. I liked the vibe of the place. Next time I'm going to try their homemade pasta, sauce, and sausage.
The food was good, the service was great, and the beer list is so so. The poutine was the biggest hit, and we will be back some more. They have a kids menu and an arcade area which my 7 year old enjoyed.
First visit the pizza was great! Second visit the chicken sandwich was overcooked with one slice of bacon, no condiments nor lettuce or tomato.
