Had breakfast here in earlier in the week! The staff, the atmosphere, and the food was fantastic! Highly recommend it! It's right across from the Famous Corn Palace! Put it on the list to stop, and check it out when you are in Mitchell!

CLOSED???! The 2 open signs were on and flashing. The store hours online state closing time is 10PM on a Saturday. I was excited to see they were open so late and looking forward to visiting this store for the first time. I arrived at 9PM and the store was closed. Really disappointing… PLEASE turn off your open signs if your closed and stay open until the stated time online or update it🙄 This is the second day in a row the open signs were on and the store was closed. NOT A GOOD LOOK. It’s an easy thing to forget but also a very important step for customers. It is also standard to have store hours listed on the building and this might be the reason they don’t. If for some reason in the future the store is closing before the posted closing time a note on the door apologizing for the inconven

Main Street Mercantile is a frequent stop for my kids and myself. We have to get our soft serve fix! Staff is always super kind and very attentive. This is a local family business and they give a lot of their time and funds back to our Mitchell community. We are so lucky to have them! Keep up the fantastic work owners and staff!
