Decided to eat around the historic downtown area of La Porte across the 5 points intersection. I've passed this place several times waiting for the right occasion and this was not it, lol, but figured why not. The menu was a little short but covered most pallets and they sounded good. We both ordered the 3 course options and mixed our choices as to taste as many different options as possible between 2 people. Grandson just ate some chicken strip meal that was large enough for an adult. For $14, it should be. Unfortunately they charged me for a Lemonade on a kids meal that should have had a drink included. My wife's drink looked like something little kids would play adults with. The food was delicious and the service was great. Apart from these few small things, this place was very charmi

This restaurant is phenomenal!! We were so shocked at the quality of the food and the excellent service. We were not expecting much from restaurants in this little town, and were pretty much expecting something on par with IHOP. However, when they brought out the food, we were so impressed with the taste and presentation. It honestly can compare to a lot of the higher end restaurants we’ve been to in Houston but this place tasted even better. Definitely a 10 out of 10!

My husband and I went on a Thursday night and were seated immediately with no wait. We both ordered the 3-course meal. I started with the Caesar salad, which had cool, crisp lettuce with no soggy leaves in sight. For my entrée, I got the shrimp scampi. It was bright, flavorful, and more sophisticated than the usual heavy, overly buttery, weirdly greasy cheesy versions I’ve had at other restaurants. The garlic-butter-lemon sauce was balanced, and the dish came with six large shrimp and a portion of rice. It was the perfect amount for a single meal, though it didn’t make leftovers. My husband ordered the Andouille & Blackened Chicken Pasta. It was creamy, spicy, and very filling. He had enough to take some home for later. For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake and the crème brûlée. The cr

I looked this place up along with another restaurant and I chose this one between the two. And I’m hella glad I did! From the moment I walked in the outer doors to the inner restaurant door, I was greeted warmly with a huge smile from the hostess. I sat at the bar and the Bar Tender, who was in training I believe, was hella nice and attentive. The Manager even came out and greeted each guest one by one. Taking time to really chat with us. The food, of which I wish I had taken a picture of, was perfect! I ordered the File Mignon with Broccolini and Oven Roasted Finger Potatoes. For dessert I ordered the Crème Brûlée. I really enjoyed myself. As a truck driver, I look for special locations to eat when I’m treating myself and I’m extremely glad I chose this place. Totally worth the mile

We arrived at the restaurant and ww were immediately seated at the table, the restaurant was not busy about 10 occupied tables about 6 people at the bar and 4 servers plus a woman in sandals and sleeveless blouse serving tables. 5 mins to get our drinks, no biggie right? Almost 20 mins go by and our server never went back to take our order he and the the woman in sandals passed us by several times, until I got frustrated and asked the woman in sandals for the check she didn't even ask if we had been helped at all or why we were leaving, she then tells our server to get our check he brings our check and says he was sorry, not even asked to take our order, the woman didn't even offer to take our order either like wow really? We were dressed in jeans and T shirts, decent like you wouldn't take
