Mahopac Library

Our library is just spectacular! My children now adults came here when they were toddlers for story time and then while they were in school to study. The views overlooking lake Mahopac makes a nice moment to reflect or gage your eyes after reading a book. Sometimes I just come here to sit and breathe. Check out the garden area when it’s nice weather. The book barn is great to donate books you are down reading too. Enjoy! 📖📚

Not out of town friendly for library programs. We have taken our toddler to many libraries in the area that are more than welcoming to anyone but not Mahopac. Our local library and park is 6 miles away and always has Mahopac residents in attendance.

An absolutely stunning library with gorgeous lake views! It is beautiful inside and very colorful. Tons of programs that appeal to people of all ages. Their book barn is one of the best that the MHLS has to offer with tons of staff to help you and some great books for sale!

We held our Hudson Valley Division of the NMRA (National Model Railroad Association) meeting in their main meeting room. Outstanding location for meetings. Their staff was very friendly and insured we had everything we needed for a successful meeting.

Beautiful setup and views with a nice quiet atmosphere thay works well for focusing on work. Will definitely be visiting again.
