Maguro Hibachi Steakhouse

This was a family outing with 4 of us including my grandson. He was entertained by the show. It was Monday night but there was a steady business. Service was quick and the food was very good. We had 3 hibachi and 1 sushi eater. The hibachi servings were large plates. We all got soup as well.

Definitely the best sushi / sashimi in town...everything fresh, salmon is amazing! Presentation is beautiful...

First time at this place. The atmosphere was inviting and very spacious. The staff were very tentative of drink refills and the food came out fast. The sesame chicken was the best I’ve eaten. The chicken was perfect. My wife got the hibachi steak and the carrots were not done. It was almost 41$ for us to eat fried calamari, sesame chicken and 3 drinks. The soup is not clear soup, it is miso, we did not enjoy it.

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. We had to wait for a table, but it was only about 8 minutes. The area was clean, and we enjoyed watching the chef cook in front of us. He was friendly and sociable. We were served a freshly washed salad before the chef prepared our meal. The meat was fresh, not packaged or processed. The sauce the chef provided was amazing, as was the food. Overall, it was an awesome experience!

One of the best places is Southern Pines for sushi! They offer hibachi and various other dishes other than sushi and the customer service is great. The bathrooms are clean and it’s spacious inside. It can get busy especially during peak hours/weekends and holidays. I’ve liked all the dishes I’ve gotten here and I’ve brought friends and family here too. I recommend this place for a date or family events or if you want to see a hibachi chef cook in front of you. If you’re new, the left side has hibachi seating and the right has regular seating, if you’re ordering sushi fill out the paper form on the table and give it to the waiter.
