Tanglewood Farm Bed and Breakfast

Second stay at this beautiful farm. Breakfast is delicious. Lindsay is great at providing attention to details. The Horse and Hound Suite was excellent. All the cute, little chickens love blueberries, so be sure to bring some. Love seeing the sweet horses. The water pressure was phenomenal in the shower, which is important to me. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Tanglewood Farm is charming. A rowdy gang of chickens greet you at your door each morning, looking for a handout. The horses are beautiful. Really quite special... but, in Cabin #1 the mattress was the worst I've ever slept on- more like a lumpy hammock. The wifi was extremely poor. We ended up stepping out onto the back patio and using our cellular service. And, it's really not a "B&B" unless you are there on a weekend. To be fair, they are up front about this and it wasn't a big deal to drive into Southern Pines for breakfast, but still. One of the many 5-star reviewers shared how much their young children loved petting the horses but a long-list of "don't" presented at check-in includes "no touching the animals" or "making loud noises". This seems fair to the horses but,

Clean, comfy, relaxing. Weekend breakfast is fantastic. The welcoming committee of chickens was so much fun. So close to downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst but still nestled in beautiful horse country. Loved the horses, cats and roaming chickens. Wonderful hosts.

We love Tanglewood B&B and have stayed there several times. The Fox Den is fantastic with lots of light, a big comfy bed, a roomy bathroom, and a perfect little kitchen. There is a wonderful view of the beautifully landscaped property. Especially inviting is the patio with a nice table and chairs to enjoy the chickens and horses. Lindsay is the best host. She is quick to respond to any request and very personable. We look forward to our next stay. Tanglewood is a true gem!

What a peaceful place for a getaway! The Fox Den was so comfortable. My husband and I really enjoyed relaxing there. The property is beautiful. I loved hearing the horses. The chickens were so friendly, and their eggs were delicious. Lovely location.
