Stopped by for the first time because I had business in Robertsdale and had heard great things about the food. When I walked in there was a line of people at the hostess/cashier stand so I waited in line and when it was my turn I told her I just needed a table for one. She asked if I was getting the buffet and when I told her no, her entire demeanor changed, like I was somehow annoying her, and she rudely said "ugh well just sit wherever then" while rolling her eyes. I have never been in a restaurant with a hostess that expected you to seat yourself and got rude when you didn't know that (there was no sign indicating I could just walk on past her and sit). We loved the name Magnolia Blossom and read some good reviews so decided to try out breakfast. The atmosphere is old country diner and was borderline clean. We ordered off the menu: eggs, meat, biscuits, hash browns, grits, and coffee. The food was terrible. The biscuits couldn't melt the margarine. My husband said his sausage patty tasted like liver. I thought he must be exaggerating so I took a small bite. He was right! It was so bad that I gagged. I wanted to write this review to give a good clear description of our meal. If you are passing through this town we strongly suggest eating somewhere else.
