Mad Mike's Ice Cream

Excellent local spot for home made ice cream. The only place I'm aware of that sells cinnamon ice cream, which keeps me coming back fairly regularly. Adding salted pretzels to the cinnamon ice cream is just about my all-time favorite dessert.

At first, I was disappointed that such a tiny cup of milkshake cost $7, but after tasting it, I was relieved the torture would be over soon. My caramel shake tasted more like chilled milk than an actual milkshake. The base was overly milky and not nearly sweet enough, which completely drowned out the ice cream flavor. I wanted to celebrate National Milkshake Day by supporting a small business, but they have no pride in their product. There was no whipped cream, no cherry, and nothing to make it special. While I sincerely wish the owners success, I personally found the shake both overpriced and unappetizing.

Great ice cream spot! Creamy texture, fun flavors, plenty of variety, kind service, reasonable prices, and welcoming atmosphere. I got the Key Like Pie flavor and it was super good. I will be returning!

The last time I came here my friend and I were not impressed. The special flavors hardly had any pieces, it's kinda like one or two bits of Reese's in the whole thing. I realize this is homemade ice cream, but I honestly could not taste the difference between this and store bought or the competition. It definitely isn't bad, it just wasn't as amazing as reviews lead you to believe. It tasted ok. I just remember being let down by the high price. I have not been here in some time, the picture of prices online does not match the web listing.

I recently visited Mad Mike's Ice Cream and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The ice cream was absolutely delicious and you could tell that it was homemade. I ordered the chocolate fudge brownie ice cream and it was incredible. The brownie pieces were perfectly mixed in with the chocolate ice cream, and the texture was creamy and smooth. The staff was also wonderful and provided excellent customer service. They were friendly and helpful, and made sure that I had a great experience. I would highly recommend Mad Mike's Ice Cream to anyone who loves delicious, homemade ice cream. It's definitely worth a visit!
