The bartender on thursdays is AMAZING, this was my second time visiting for jazz nights, and after only one time ordering from the bartender he remembered the exact type of drink I liked and recommended me an awesome tasting option. I really appreciate his memory, hospitality and recommendation!

Dr jeckylls is one of the best local bars with loads of delicious beers, ales, ciders, and meads, and live music usually multiple times a week. The owner, John Velentine, brought the live music scene here to Arlington, and because of him, lots of places now occasionally feature bands. I have heard many of the best bands of my life here. Its Bring Your Own Food, and there are dozens of great restaurants within a 1 block radius. Get some food from Rodeo Hibachi or Davids BBQ or any good food you like, and bring it, and watch live music and drink delicious locally made beer while you eat dinner!

Great drinks on tap and the perfect atmosphere of music playing loudly enough to enjoy but not too loud. Perfect place to enjoy a drink while having a chat or playing some board games. I'll definitely be back and bringing friends!

I have been going to Dr. Jeckyll’s since 2019 and recently got to know the owners & bartenders John, Josh, and Nathan a lot more as they started hosting more events at the bar. My open mic that I host, RVC Open Mic, had our first Arlington event in June and we filled the entire bar! The bar is very home-y as it’s a hidden gem in Pantego and is the home to many up and coming bands! They event held a Juneteenth festival where local artists and bands like Le Lune, Miles Canady, Big Sug, Igimèjí, dtb, Cherry Mantis, and more played throughout the entire day. I’ve had friends who have held album release parties and events here (Neon & Red, JTE, Frio Trio) and even music sets like a Jazz Night.
