Mad City Coffee

Bill‘s hazelnut cream coffee beans are the best! We have moved all over Maryland and even to Florida over the past decade, but continue to have him ship us 4 pounds at a time. I’m not sure we’d be able to get up in the morning without it! Wonderfully responsive service.

Absolutely delicious food and coffee! Not only that but great prices. It is hard to find an equal for the size of their sandwiches and you will not find a better tasting sandwich in Columbia. Show up early to a visit to the hospital or grab a snack on the way to college. You will not be dissapointed! I forgot they have a baker's worth of bread choices from croissants to my favorite marbled rye 🤤

They make the best fresh roasted beans in the area. I love the flavors. The owner Bill is amazing and friendly. They used to have the occasional live music in the evenings, not sure if they still do that. The atmosphere is great.

The absolute best place. I love coming here. Owned by some wonderful people and you literally cannot go wrong with any drink or food!!! I’ve been coming here with my mom for 10+ years and this place is just as good, and affordable as it’s ever been. Truly a hidden gem! Wonderful place to work from too during the week!

I’ve been visiting this place a couple of times a year, and my girlfriend and I really enjoy it. She loves getting fresh brew coffee, while I usually opt for tea and a handmade Danish from the back. Today, the coffee was excellent and fresh, just like always. I’ve never had any issues here; the staff is always courteous and provides great service.
