Mac's Countryside Deli & Catering

We ordered 3 heros, each of them 3 feet. This was for my daughter's birthday party with 15 people. One of the heros was supposed to be basil, tomato and mozzarella. My husband went to pick them up and that hero had tomato, cheese and lettuce only! They handed him a basil seasoning shaker jar to sprinkle on the sandwich. Not real basil leaf but a shaker😳 The hero had one or two pieces of cheese on it which I've never seen before. Usually Heros have a few slices of cheese. My husband spoke to the owner and he said he will give store credit for that. Those 2 things were disappointing but NOT as gross as biting into a piece of sandwich to find plastic and hair🤢🤢🤢 A piece of plastic inside the sandwich!!! If that was swallowed it could've been bad news. Chewing food and feeling plastic & see

Stopped for a quick bite on the way to an appointment. Let’s just say it was the best stop ever! Service was amazing! Food was amazing! Just was going to grab egg sandwich’s! Which by the way come with homemade ice tea, lemonade or oj, come to find out a very nice gentleman had come out from the back and said next time we come we need to try the empanadas! He had just made them and well we can’t say no to an empanada fresh made!!! Well let’s just say they barely made it to the car, had to go back in and let him know how good they were!! Everything was delicious and we will most definitely be back!! Filling and delicious!!

Ordered from DoorDash for me to pick up, they don’t answer phone to place order. DoorDash app told me food was ready. I get there and the lady says yes it’s ready one minute 15 minutes later and they are just starting to cook my fries. When I say something they look at me like I have 10 heads. I leave without the fries. Get refunded for the fries get back to my job to find the chicken Cesar wrap is cold, wrong, and with a whole head of lettuce minus the Cesar dressing. Workers rude food horrible

Mac's is situated in a scenic area, right on the lake and surrounded by trees, it's a great little spot to grab something to eat outside while taking in the landscape. The owner, Elvis, is a really nice guy who loves to make sure the customer is satisfied and his "two-handed" sandwich claim is no lie! Great place, great food, definitely get over to Mac's with the whole family and you won't be disappointed.
