Longwood Public Library

Great library. They offer many programs that I attend. Good selection of books, magazines, and newspapers. Carl is a wonderful librarian. He's helpful, knowledgable, and, informative. High marks for the "Mythology and Folklore" display upstairs. These are the greatest stories by the greatest writers the world over. Kudos to the person deciding on this display and putting it together. This library is doing a great job getting more people into great literature.

I've always loved my local library, since I was a small child. This has been our "home" library since 2007. Over the last almost 18 years it's grown a bit, and I've built a beautiful extended community with the staff in the library, from the Administration & Front staff, Children's Department, Teen Department & on occasion, the Adult Department as well! (Mostly focused on my children over the last 16 years!) They have plenty of parking, handicapped spaces, lovely little garden play area during the Spring through Fall outside area, and growing events for kids, families, adults, etc. We even have our annual Homeowners Meeting here in one of the community rooms. Overall, being that my childhood library was Connetquot, this truly has been an adventure and we have only continued to enjoy it mor

A wonderful library with friendly staff who will always help you with your computer, especially when you don't know how to use it properly. You will see excellent attitude and patience from the staff towards readers. Sincere thanks to the entire library team!

This library is a bad library yesterday. I brought my child the library to hang out with his friends one is ten the other 1 is 7, we go and they don't wanna go to the children's place.So they go out to go get snacks , she says very meaningly to them, you cannot be out here.You have be with your parent so then the seven year old crys and he is running what you should not be doing in your library.I get that, but he was very upset.So am I tried , and friend go get him to calm him down, so she calls security on them. But before she calls the security, she's yelling at them for trying to comfort, but then she calls security and security was not rude , but it's so stupid that their kids and the librarian they told her that he's crying now because of it now she is asking weird questions about it

nice library clean environment. the employees are pretty loud though you’ll definitely need earplugs if you want to focus. i also wish they enforced people to be quieter because it’s a library
