Macarena's Mexican Food Kansas City

This is the cutest little Mexican joint! Known for their puffy tacos! The puffy tacos are super yummy, crispy edges and flavorful pico you can get either chicken or beef. We always order a side of chips and queso which is also super yummy!! Last night we also got some nachos to try. Here’s a pic!

I love this place! It’s right by my house, which makes it easy to pick up takeout. It’s hiding behind another building, so if you’re on the main road, it’s kind of hard to see. I’ve tried four different menu items, and they have all been delicious! The inside of the building is always clean, and there are high chairs for babies/kids. There have been times when I go in, and the people at the register aren’t always the nicest, but overall, it’s usually a great experience!

We really enjoyed our visit. I got a fish taco, shrimp taco, and puffy ground beef taco. My husband got a fish taco, pork Adobe taco, and a steak taco. We shared some chips and queso. The tacos were absolutely delicious, and they didn't skimp on the protein in any of them. Everything was very well seasoned and freshly made. The food came out very quick and was piping hot. We were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time we came and found that kind of odd. We are visiting KC from Atlanta. I grew up in this area and it used to be a very big central point for business and restaurants. It seems like it is still a good location. Regardless, we had a lovely dinner that was reasonably priced and a absolutely delicious. The young man who served us was very polite and efficient. I hope that

The dishes here were very good. Reasonably priced and my kids enjoyed it. They have something for everyone. The guacamole was a tad under seasoned nothing a little salt can't take care of. All and all I would eat there again.
