Lyon Township Public Library

I love this little library. They are the friendliest library I've been to in Livingston County. They get to actually know their patrons, greet them by name, play with them (that's Ms. Jocelyn playing with kids during storytime), and they have the best kids programs that I've been to. I've tried three other libraries in Livingston County, and I keep coming back to this one as the best for me and my two Littles.

It's clear that this library has outgrown the space it is in. We can't wait for the new building to be constructed. In the meantime, my two year old still loves this place, and the staff is great. This library grants access to Libby books, and is a wonderful community library.

A really sweet little library (very similar to the one I grew up with and worked at) and community center. Staff are all very nice and upbeat. Better children's programs than Brighton. Children are fully appreciated here, but there's not much for them to do (the downside of being small and sharing a space).

The place seems like it needs help. Wifi was unusable with download speeds of 08 Mb/s, water fountain was out of order, bathroom stall had graffiti on the walls. It was my first time there, and I don't think I'll be back any time soon. I do hope the best for this establishment as libraries are crucial for every community, but this one needs a lot of work.
