Lure Fish House

We ordered crispy calamari and fish and chips with half/half clam chowder/Veracruz fish chowder as a side dish. The half/half clam fish chowder was not on the menu but was recommended by our waitress. Also, we were concerned with previous reviews that the fried fish was too overly batter and fried thus our waitress indicated she will inform the chef to lightly fried the fish. We were not disappointed! The seafoods were fresh and perfect. And they served amazing hot off-the-oven sour dough bread! Our waitress was outstanding and knowledgeable. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Lure Fish House.

We stopped by Lure Fish House in Camarillo before heading to the mall and it was a great experience overall. The service was excellent from start to finish and the food was really good. I am a big fan of oysters and theirs were incredibly fresh, which was definitely a highlight. The ceviche was a bit on the simple side but still enjoyable. I recommend this spot if you are in the area or visiting the mall nearby. A solid choice for fresh seafood and friendly service.

The atmosphere was bustling and lively, with a welcoming nautical theme that made the space feel both elegant and comfortable. My order of the crispy fish sandwich and a house salad was an excellent choice. The sandwich was perfectly prepared—the fish was flaky and moist inside with a light, golden-brown crust that had just the right amount of crunch. It wasn't at all greasy, which can often be the case with fried fish. The accompanying house salad was fresh and crisp, providing a perfect contrast to the rich sandwich. What a pleasant surprise after shopping at the outlets. Great service, seafood was fresh and decor. Highly suggest the fish from the catch of the day selection. Rockfish was perfect and so was the linguine pasta. Will be back!
