Lunas Tacos & Tequila Windsor

My first time in was wonderful, and I'd be back far more often if I lived nearby. Great offering for Windsor! Outstanding happy hour, tasty house margs, nachos were overflowing, and the Carnitas and Barbacoa were delicious 😋 Great decor and vibe with an upstairs section than can flex to other pop-up concepts.

I ordered catering for my Mother-in-law's 80th birthday. Luna's was responsive and helpful in picking out the menu. They delivered on time and provided more than enough for the number of people I ordered for...the food was warm and amazing! Everyone loved it and we are excited to dine-in one day!

There’s a nice article in Windsor Life about Lu a’s so we decided to try it out for a Sunday lunch. It wasn’t too busy. The inside was very dark (shades drawn) so it wasn’t terribly inviting. We were seated promptly —they use a flag system to alert the server you have a request. The food was quite good—breakfast burrito was huge, filled with egg/chorizo/cheeses/potatoes and flavorful chili sauce—unique taste. The taco salad was fine—nice chunks of avocado, but the cilantro vinaigrette dressing was divine. A huge bowl of chips comes with 3 very good salsas, and the guacamole is great, lots of lime. They have a nice outdoor seating upstairs which would have been a more please place to sit.

I think we have been in Luna‘s a couple times and this experience was by far the best experience we had there. Carson waited on us, advised us on our decisions with food and drink validated that with reasons as to why it was our best choice and then really came through with it being amazing. I would highly recommend going and having the opportunity to visit with Carson and his recommendations. His knowledge of tequila is by far the most information I’ve ever received in my experience. I think they have some events coming up that we are looking forward to learning more about the tequila as they have and tasting and the pairings that go with that I am absolutely just in shock at what amazing service we received recommend them.

So much fun! Such a cool experience ! Carson was an awesome bartender for the tiki night!
