Lummi Seafood Market

I had a great experience shopping here at Lummi Seafood Market. There is a wide variety of foods that are hard to find. Smoked Salmon Collars, Halibut, other native goods. I dont get to check as much as id like to see what they have but they have always been good to me.

Extremely saddened to leave such a negative review after hearing such great things from other people, but I just can't get over the fact that we spent nearly $200 dollars for a small amount of seafood that should've been tossed. Went here in mid February late in the afternoon and the smell was extremely bad of spoiled seafood, not the normal fishy smell. The fillets in the middle bin were on maybe 1 or 2 inches of ice, the urchins had gone limp and were ooozing a green substance 🤢 We just got some frozen prawns and a cooked crab. The crab was not cooked that day as the the kid (who was only maybe 16) working there said he didn't cook any that day. He also had to take some of the prawns out of our two 2 lb bag because he said they looked bad? So we paid for 2lbs and got less. The crab and p

Terry, the fisherman and owner, hauled in the dungeness crab we were straight-up drooling over the night before—fresh, briney, unreal. And somehow we ended up eating it at a bike festival?! Who knew you could vibe to live music, watch rippers on the pump track and crush fresh crab?! ? Big love to the Lummi community for sharing such incredible flavors and traditions 👌💗🫶

Unbelievably Horrible! I spent 150$ on smoked fish- salmon, sturgeon, and blackcod that had been brined in a bizare brine that had cloves in it! Yuck! The cod was not brined enough and was squishy, the texture was wrong on the other fish. I was excited to find spot shrimp frozen that turned out to be 'the most unfresh' to put it generously. The shrimp crumbled after cooking!!!! I have never seen this in decades of eating spots. They were a smelly inedible 30 dollar a pound waste. I also purchased some halibut that will go straight into the garbage. I know fish as a commercial fisher and seafood wholesaler and this is the worst I've seen!
