Luk's Bar and Grill

Decided to give luk's a shot on Friday night with a friend. We had to wait about 10 minutes to grab 2 seats at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive, and very nice even though it was busy. Great atmosphere here with live music in the corner of the restaurant. The Don Julio margaritas were amazing. I got the filet on a stone, and my friend got steak tips. Both meals blew us away. The filet I could cook to my liking after cutting it up a bit, and it also came with 3 different dipping sauces all amazing. Highly recommend the filet on a stone. Definitely will be back at this restaurant again. Good job Luk's. 👌☺️

Guess they were short handed but what ever, server told us they "had a big party" so they were way behind. Meanwhile, host is still seating tables, no wait so they are getting more buried. Typical mess, people coming in 30 minutes after us, got food 20 minutes before we did. Cluster of a restaurant when we went, gonna say no to a second time there. I got wings, pretty clear they'd been sitting in the window for hours. Dry. Not good. Wife got the bowl. Ton of rice. Few chick peas. Not good.

Went in for a quick lunch break and was sat promptly at a bar top. I waited for 10 mins to be greeted. I decided to sit at the bar and put in an order for a more expedited experience. I ordered the steak salad with Italian dressing that was $25 dollars. I received 3 bites of steak and ranch dressing. Unfortunately, it was to go and I didn’t realize it until later because I didn’t have time to eat there. I sat at the bar with my card in hand for another 10 minutes trying to get the bartenders attention. Although she noticed that I was ready to pay, I had to yell to get her attention as she turned her back on me to head the other direction to ask for my check. I have had good experiences previously, but today was not one of them.

I was worried about the sign. Where I come from "humble" has the same root word as humiliate. I'm glad I came in anyway. This is a comfy place with a good menu. I had a lunch special with chicken and mashed potatoes and a dessert (look at this! It's a warm chocolate chip cookie made just for you in a little pan!!! 😭) and sat and waited for the mechanic up the road to be finished with my car. There's a little bar here like the ones back home with people sitting on their day off having a nice slow drink or 3 and taking most of the day while they talk to strangers about nothing in particular and a sign says they have live music every weekend.

We came to Luk’s Bar and Grill for the first time using a NH Dollar Saver coupon and were really hoping to have a great experience but unfortunately, it fell short. We waited almost an hour for our food, and while our waitress was friendly, the service overall was incredibly slow. We ordered the fried haddock, smothered smash burger, and cheese curds. The fries were the only thing that came out hot, everything else was lukewarm or cold. The food lacked flavor and seasoning, and we weren’t fans of the ranch or marinara sauces; the marinara tasted a bit burnt. Very nice staff, but the quality and wait time just didn’t justify the visit.
