Ludington Library

I’ve visited many libraries and bookshops, but there’s something truly special about this Main Line gem. The collection is vast, the resources are outstanding, and the staff go above and beyond—even helping visitors secure access while only renting temporarily in the area. It’s easy to forget how fortunate we are until visiting libraries elsewhere with fewer offerings. Here, you can always find a quiet nook to enjoy a book, and beyond serving the Main Line, the library uplifts and supports adjacent communities in their pursuit of learning.

I love this library because it has a very rare elevator - a Thyssenkrupp Studio. This was a short lived Thyssenkrupp elevator model that was only produced between 2008 and 2011.

Wish I could reply to Karen Smith's review but I can't. However, I do believe it is a policy of the library to uphold privacy and therefor they did do the right thing. In my opinion, that is an example of excellent service which I myself have experienced here at Ludington Library many many times.

Huge library and we went to there for ooen kids for some cruft. Clean and 3rd floors is for children's

This is a beautiful library located on Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County. They have a book store on the bottom floor as well as other merchandise to purchase. The first floor has adult books, movies and magazines and periodicals. The next level has a rest and eating area with vending machines. Across from that area is the young adults/children's sections with restrooms. It's a relatively newly refurbished library just done several years ago. Nice place to escape to and catch up on some reading.
