My family and I moved to Louisville six years ago, and Lucky Pie quickly became our Friday night tradition. The Neapolitan-style pizza was fantastic, the happy hour made it accessible for families, and it genuinely felt like a community staple. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years, the experience has steadily declined, and tonight was the final straw for us. The happy hour is restricted to the bar area only, but the bar area is now limited to guests 13 and older. While I understand setting age limits, effectively removing happy hour from the families who filled your restaurant every Friday feels like a major miss and a departure from what made Lucky Pie special in the first place. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager tonight was dismissive and openly

I have been coming to Lucky Pie since they opened. The food, beer selection, and drinks are some of the best Louisville has to offer. I have never had a service issue here, and sometimes my wife and I are here 2 times a week. The outdoor area is nice for families with children or anyone wanting to enjoy the weather, and the bar area inside has a great happy hour. As a long time, customer who frequents the bar, I would really like to give a shout-out to how much I LOVE that you have decided not to allow children in the bar area. Those of us without children who just want to have a drink and eat some fantastic food really appreciate it. Plus, there is plenty of space in the restaurant for the groups with children. My favorite pizza here is the burrata pizza. It does change seasonally but t

Our family used to come here almost weekly, including with various sports teams, to enjoy delicious cheese pizzas and a drink during happy hour. Now that happy hour is not available to families (happy hour is restricted to the bar area, where kids are no longer allowed) it is no longer an affordable option in our rotation. We’ll opt for other nearby restaurants that offer happy hour deals throughout the entire restaurant.

Way over-priced. I went with two of my grown children, at the recommendation of one of them. We each got our own pie, all different. We each got a beer. So, 3 pizzas, 3 beers. Our bill was $97. That's all we ordered. 3 pizzas + 3 beers = $97. That did not include the gratuity. The pizzas were not big. I would say they would feed 1.5 adults. A hungry adult (like me) could easily wolf down a whole pie. We each took home some pizza for leftovers. When the bill arrived, my son's eyes nearly popped out of his head at the price. He was the one who recommended the place, and he was shocked. What's weird is that the place was full of families with kids under 5 yrs old. Little kids everywhere. I figured the place would be reasonably priced with lots of young families. Nope. Yes, the pizza is go

So very sad to leave this review. We've been coming to Lucky Pie for 5 years. This was are go to on Friday nights for happy hour. Recent changes are really disappointing. The tables in the bar are now 13 and older, which is totally fine, but the policy now only allows happy hour menu at the bar, so we won't be come back. So, so sad. Cheers ... 🥹
