Lucky Morning Donuts

First off the staff here is exceptional, always smiling and busy at work. Every customer that comes through the door is greeted with a good morning or hello. Lots of beverage options as well as cold bottled coffees if thats your thing. The donuts are all good but not great, an even mix of middle of the road. Their kolaches are where they really stand out, the beef frank is the best one, followed by the boudin kolache. Both options are juicy and delicious, the boudin used has a good flavor and isn't too spicy. If you're looking for bulk donuts I would not hesitate, but you'll more likely find yourself getting the kolache if its breakfast just for you. Either way, they're worth checking out in the Gardere area of town.

Self service Coffee was good. Apple fritter must have been day old (stale) sausage, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. Very good.

Last Sunday we stopped on the way to do YCP to do church service. We ordered 2 dozen chocolate covered donut holes, 1 dozen glazed donut hole, 1 cinnamon twist, two boudin kolaches, 1 chocolate covered donut, 4 chocolate milks, an energy drink & a coke. The chocolate icing was disgusting! We've gotten it before there and it was good. This time it wasn't, so we called to let them know. They didn't seem to appreciate the heads up. The very next weekend we went back to see if they'd make things right and replace the ones we bought last time & they refused. We're not going there again bc of that experience. You should make your customers happy if they were let down.

our chocolate glazed tasted like cigarettes. disappointed because we have bought donuts from here and enjoyed them. won’t be coming back.

This is my FAVORITE donut shop! The Apple Fritters are the THE BEST! I now live near Dallas, TX and it would almost be worth the drive to get some GREAT donuts again!!
