Lucky Dogs Pizzeria & Taproom

We went to this modest looking establishment with its metal-sided building and simple stone parking lot. We were not sure what to expect but upon entering we were pleasantly surprised with a decent bar and a number of roomy tables. With children’s coloring examples taped to the wall you could tell that this was a down home eatery. The waitstaff gave us our menus and promptly brought us an Erie Canal IPA and a Sam Adams Oktoberfest draft. After letting us look at the menu for a few minutes, during which the phone was buzzing with takeout orders, we ordered “wings and pizza” special. The order came promptly. This is a great family friendly place to go. Good vibes, delicious pizza and wings. Nice selection of brews and several areas to play games.

Excellent excellent wings, perfectly cooked and great flavor. Pizza tasted great but was a little undercooked. Service was also amazing. It can get loud in here with a steel wood interior (no sound boards). Ambience was nice a dim. The also have some decent merch.

This place is a gem for the area! Had the hazy IPA from Prison City. Was delicious. Ordered the Mango Habanero wings. They were cooked perfectly with just enough crisp. However, there was little to no Habanero. *Acknowledge this is a tough flavor to get right as people expect a sweet chili as mango habanero, but I expect heat that is habanero hot, which this seemed less than a mild pepperocini heat*. Overall, great place in a great location. Can't wait to try and review the pizza next visit!

Really liked this place! Pizza & wings were very good. Great pizza crust. Great Utica greens. We'lll be back with friends.
