Lucky Cat Ramen

Service was very fast. Counter seating only. I had the beef shoyu ramen, which came with free-refill tea. I ordered spicy level 2 but next time I’d get spicy level 1. The ramen was generous and tasty and included a perfect hard boiled egg. I can never get that slight translucency in the yolk at home.

Based on 1 visit: 4.5 stars for quality of food, and relatively reasonable price. Had the beef ramen, and it was quite good. I like that hot tea is included / 'free' (as is water). This place is inside H Mart, right by the entrance, so if you sit at their bar it may be cold in the winter. They seem always to be very busy, though it took way too long to pay them so that we could get on with our day. Level 2 spicy was the right level for me.

BOMB vegetarian ramen I was genuinely shocked how good the vegetarian ramen was here. I just so happened to be on this side of town and popped into the HMart on a rainy day when I accidentally discovered this place. Decided to give it a try and so glad I did! Services was promoted and friendly. Place was very clean. Food came out within about 10 minutes. The ramen had a great depth of flavor and spice. It was also packed with tofu and veggies! I wish I lived closer so I could make this place a regular stop!

Best ramen in the metro area we have found. Has that street food feel of Japan. Tonkotsu ramen is my favorite here. They treat you very well. They make sure your water or tea is always filled. I have not been disappointed once in all the years there.

The veggie ramen here is currently my favorite meal in Portland (metro area). The owner (at least I assume she is the owner, because she's there every time) is so polite and friendly, the food comes out fast, and the quality is consistent every time. It's so delicious, and everything always tastes fresh. I eat vegetarian and it's so great to have a GOOD vegetarian option for this type of food. The price is also very good, considering today's standards. We eat here fairly often, acouple times a month, at least. I also love that even if it is busy and you can't get a seat at the counter there, you can order and then sit at the large general dining area at another corner of the H Mart building and they will bring your order to you there, so you can get your delicious ramen whenever.
