Lucia Pizza

Back in Flushing and had to pay my respects at Lucia Pizza 🍕—a real Queens legend holding it down since 1962. This is the kind of place that raised generations on proper New York slices. Thin crust, crisp edges, sweet tangy sauce, cheese bubbling like it’s got something to prove. I used to live out here and this spot was mandatory. No trends, no gimmicks, just a regular slice that still hits like a heavyweight champ. Some things don’t need upgrading—just another napkin. Queens classics only.

I've had Lucia pizza twice while visiting Flushing, once through delivery and the other time in person; delivery is definitely not the ideal way to have the pizza from here due to the very long wait time, so I'm choosing to review my in person visit, on my last night in NY no less. Much of what's been said about this place is true, great and generally affordable pizza being sold in tiny store. The service is efficient, you can tell the staff there has been with the place for a long time. I ordered 1 regular slice and 2 pepperoni slices which took ~5 minutes to receive. Of the 3 slices I ordered, I'd say the regular cheese slice is the way to go if you're new to NY style pizza. The cheese is hot and nicely melted, the sauce isn't overpowering, and the bread/crust has a nice crisp to it. E

Tiny little intimate pizza spot near Main St in Flushing. First time my sons had been to NY and of course they wanted to try a slice of the famous NY pizza. This place didm't disappoint at all. The cheese, the sauce, the crispy crust, the pepperoni were all on point. Service was fast and mad affordable. Pizza was a hit with my boys and I already knew it was going to be great. Hit them up if in the neighborhood, well worth it.

Lucia Pizza in Flushing is absolutely amazing! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The pizza was fresh, perfectly baked, and full of flavor — truly some of the best I’ve had. The crust was crisp yet chewy, the sauce was rich and balanced, and the cheese melted beautifully. On top of that, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was great, making the visit even more enjoyable. If you’re in Flushing, this is a must-visit spot for delicious pizza. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Stopped in for a quick slice and a soda. Ordered a cheese and diet coke($5 all together). The pizza was perfectly cooked, very cheesey with a nice solid crust. It satisfied my NY pizza craving! Would recommend! 9/10
