One of the most solid upscale Italian restaurants in Long Island. We did the fixed menu and everything was well executed, fresh Montauk tuna, flavorful crab minestrone, perfectly cooked scallops, and an incredibly tender filet steak. Portions were generous, service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and refined. About $120 per person with drinks and tip!totally worth it. Highly recommend.

As someone who spends my summers in Italy, I have incredibly high standards for Italian cuisine—and Luca Stony Brook is truly next level. The food is top tier, and the specials are outrageous every single time. The Montauk Tuna Carpaccio is a must every single time. It is truly the freshest tuna I have ever tasted. Their homemade pastas are curated and cooked with so much flavor. You cannot miss the apertivo at the bar with authentic Sicilian wines, delicious prosciutto, cheese and oysters. Really delicious food made with amazing local ingredients. Every dish allowed the ingredients to shine without excessive seasoning or richness. The service was impeccable too without being overly stuffy, Joseph took really good care of us during our time there.

This was the perfect place to have a nice lunch over the holidays. The service was very nice with a friendly smile. Wine service was quick and served on appropriate glassware. The calamari appetizer isn’t the normal breaded recipe but served in a nice spicy broth. Would order again. The meatball also was exactly what we were looking for. Would come again.

10/10 across the board. Well worth the price. Highly recommend the three course dinner. We added a dozen oysters before the meal started and the seasonal greens (mid December - swiss chard). Both were excellent! Everything felt fresh and creative.
