Lubell's Ice Cream Parlor

The ice cream is honestly disgusting. The texture is off like it's very old or has been melted and refrozen. Black Walnut has always been my favorite flavor but my husband and I couldn't stomach finishing the ice cream. They also wouldn't let me get a kiddie size because I'm an adult but I had bariatric surgery and that was very off putting. I was so excited to write a review for this place it's very cute inside but I have to be truthful. Horrible ice cream.

We are avid ice cream novices. We travel a lot and our family favorite, is stopping for ice cream! When we entered Lubell's we were greated with a warm "hello and welcome" So nice, I could've hugged her. She offered my husband to taste the ice cream and gave him a spoon sample. She served each of us and was so polite. The ice cream was really good. The young man working was changing out the trash and cleaning. Not to mention they keep a clean parlor! We paid the lady at checkout and left a nice tip for such friendly service. I noticed that she had a cane, and felt lead to pray for her. There were other people who came in behind us, that received the same warm, inviting and friendly service. We will definitely be back when we are traveling through again.

Absolutely a great shop. The best milk shake in the southeast!! Very nice ppl, mom & pop shop, definitely worth the visit. Open invitation if want to share you guitar skills 😊

Was excited to try this place for the first time. I did like the interior decorations. I was disturbed to be informed when paying for my small ice cream that I had to spend a minimum of $4 for my card transaction. So I had to grab another overpriced item I had zero interest in purchasing in order to proceed. Per the reviews here the customer service doesn’t sound that great. I will likely not visit again. Best of luck, hope all these reviews help make needed business adjustments 👍

Immediately upon entering the Store, I was asked if I was ready to order? I asked her to give me a moment since I just walked in. I was told by the lady sitting off to the side I can’t wait long. I was literally the last one in line and had only been in the store barely 30 seconds. There was no one behind me. I’m not paying for that type of service so I left. Not sure if the ice cream is good, but the service is terrible
