Lowry's Books

Made a quick stop at this bookstore to find some treasures. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Found a couple of books from the Star Trek section. It is a great place to shop when in Downtown Three Rivers.

This place is the place for books! Looking for magazines, models, novelty items and maybe some gag gifts for friends or coworkers? This is the place for all of that and more! You should plan on spending at least an hour here. There is so much to see it's difficult to put in one review.

A book-lovers dream! (Also, for anyone who likes cool toys and gadgets). The first part of the store is full of novelty items, bookish gifts, science kits, toys (plush, puppets, and much more) and children's books on the left side. To the left is literally aisle after aisle after unending aisles of used books sorted by genre. It's a glorious sight! I almost lost my husband in there, LOL. I bought some books and a music box that plays "The pink panther" tune. It amuses me so much.

We found Lowry’s on a whim as we traveled back home. The main store is great for the whole family (toys, board games, Lego, and of course books). For the adventurous the orange line into the vortex of books is where fun really starts. It might not be the easiest navigation as you feel you spelunk into towering walls of readable pages. However, the staff are more than eager to guide (and even search with) you to the proper area for any category you could think of. Having spent over an hour combing the shelves we were able to find a few exceptional treasures, and will be making this a regular stop.

This is probably the coolest bookstore I've ever been in. It's huge with shelves and piles of books around winding rows. They have a mix of new and used. Not sure on others but I bought 2 horror paperbacks for 2 bucks each. They also have Legos, toys, and random nicknacks. The cookie part of the store was closed when we went.
