Loughman Lakeside Restaurant

We stopped for a quick bite and some scenery today while we were out birding. There was outside seating with water views of the lake which connects to the St Johns River. I enjoyed a delicious blackened chicken sandwich and fries. My 2 dogs also enjoyed some of the fries. The service was great and the views of the lake were beautiful.

Super chill vibe that can ramp up with intensity when planes, helicopters, and airboats arrive. Great entertainment that doesn’t disturb your dining experience. Huge portions, hot and fresh, and amazing bartenders. The indoor dining and service area are awesome, the grand piano fits right in. A star takeaway due to very tough Gator Bites. The portion was over the top and the bite sizes are way better than any other restaurant. Won’t keep me from ordering again!

Great food and stunning views. Table service, at least inside, would've been nice. Interior seems to be in the midst of being redone (server said they had a flood last year so it's probably from that). The food is great but for the price it'd be nice if it wasn't served on disposable plates. Definitely a hidden gem and they seem to be planning on building more stuff at this cute little fish camp style hideaway.

Great restaurant right by a lake with great american style food, reasonable prices and great service! You can sit indoors or outdoors right by the lake and the bar and catch the sunset! Highly recommended!

We found this place last winter. It's a very nice location and the service was great! We will be back!
