Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I ordered two large pizzas and a salad to-go. Despite having eaten it right when it got delivered, most of my salad was clearly old, the lettuce was already wilted by the time I mixed it into my dressing and the mushrooms were already getting brown. I had to push all of the wilted lettuce (most of it!) away. Very disappointed in the quality and freshness from this location.

$31.50 for a half and half topping medium, are you guys nuts!? You charged me full price for two toppings even though I got it half and half, this defies logic and rationale, it's wrong and you all know it's wrong and for the district manager who sees this, take it up with your leadership. Even your employee said it didn't make sense but he was too scared to even say it I had to pull it out of him. Will not be returning and I've been buying your pizza my entire life

Since when does Chicago “deep dish” pizza mean thick greasy bread with little cheese on top? I used to be so proud/excited to introduce Lou Malnati’s to visitors but it’s such a shame that it’s not the same anymore. It’s just over priced flour batter with a layer of cheese.

This location is a carry out only which means no delivery or dinning in. It’s very close to my family’s house which makes it very convenient. The wait typically is minimal 30 minutes if you’re ordering a Chicago deep dish pizza. I haven’t been back in over a year and they had my info in the system still from my phone number which was pretty cool. The pizza itself it’s very well made. The ratios of sauce to cheese to crust for Chicago style are very on point. I usually go to Lou’s when I’m in chi town! Definitely gives me that Windy City pizza vibes I’m looking for! I usually get cheese and pepperoni and keep it simple but strongly effective! Lou’s is Bodies by Farny approved!

I ordered a pizza at 5:30 PM, as of 7:36 still no pizza. Called the store twice. The first answer was they would be here at 7:15. Second call 7:30 and they said they didn't know where our pizza was and would we like to reorder. NO! Do not use delivery from Lou Malnati's in Prospect Heights, store #9.
