Lost Isle

Just came home from visiting Charleston for the first time. I moved here from NY and haven’t had a truly delicious meal in SC yet. Lost Isle has changed that. The atmosphere is awesome. They had heaters and fire pits (it was a little chilly when we went) The staff was very friendly and very attentive. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. I RECOMMEND THE CLAMS. I RECOMMEND THE CAULIFLOWER STEAK. They are very delicious and definitely DO NOT lack in flavor. Definitely come here for a chill let’s grab drinks and enjoy some fantastic meals.

We had a lovely dinner with an old friend at Lost Isle in October. Every part of the experience was delightful. The outdoor atmosphere and smell of wood smoke reveal the authenticity of the restaurant. We ordered our food items and then sipped on drinks while waiting. The staff here work exceptionally hard to ensure eat guest is cared for. We tried to steak with chimichurri sauce. The flavor was wonderful and the steak was huge. We absolutely loved the whipped ricotta appetizer. The layers of flavor were so complimentary and we loved how the bread had a wood fried crisp. Absolutely delicious. I wish we could give it 10 stars.

this place truly hits it out of the park- the outdoor atmosphere is top notch, the staff is so incredibly welcoming and inviting, and the food is truly some of the best in the area. Some highlights for us was the whipped ricotta, ribeye, carrots and my god the pork chop was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The cocktails were also very well thought out and delicious. It’s very clear every aspect of this place has been thought out with great care making it an absolute one of a kind gem on John’s island. Absolutely worth the wait for the table.

This place is exceptional with an amazing outdoor atmosphere. Great drinks, super friendly staff, and the constant smell of the wood grill is enough but the food also is incredible! We got a little bit of everything tonight. Highlights were the tomahawk pork chop, curry collards, grilled olives, smoked fish dip, and grit cakes. Ribeye was good too but if you’re between that and the pork chop go with the pork. It was one of the best we’ve ever had. It was a long wait to get a table but grab a drink or two at the bar and just enjoy it. Absolutely worth the wait!!

Want a totally different experience - this is IT! Eat outside under the stars while you watch your food being prepared over an outdoor, open flame kitchen. The smells waft across your table….mmm! The team here work together seamlessly to provide a unique experience. The food is always consistent and delicious. The whipped ricotta, curry collards and butter bean hummus are some of our favs. Entrees and sides are generous portions with unique flavors and deliciousness.
