Los Venados Mexican Restaurante

Ate there in September with co-workers when it was still hot. Their AC was out and they sure didn't tell us that before we were seated. They had little fans scattered everywhere like it was a long standign problem that they weren't getting addressed. When the AC is out in this part of the world, it is too hot to be sitting indoors somewhere trying to eat. The food here was too mediocre to go through that. Nothing you couldn't get elsewhere down the street. There was also a loud table of three men who were obviously drunk and being abnoxious who they kept serving to who just got louder and louder, playing music loudly on their phones and all. Just a weird experience.

I absolutely love this restaurant I go here a lot! They know my order, they have the best queso in town!!

Great food! I had the veggie fajitas and the veggies were NOT soaked in oil like other places have done. They even made separate beans without lard for my friend and I because we don't eat pork (we called ahead of time). I recommend the food and service; we went around lunch time. I'll be back again. Thank you!

Absolutely LOVE this place! The food is good, definitely better than any other restaurant in Antlers. Fajitas actually have flavor to them, chips and salsa are light and fresh, tacos are juicy with appropriate garnishments. Rice and beans are always great. Prices are very reasonable! My entire family can eat for half the price of other places in town. The BEST part about dining here, is the STAFF! Customer service is always SO great! It's pleasant to dine somewhere with waitresses who aren't annoyed by everything. They check on us several times, refill drinks without asking, and they SMILE! The service alone will keep bringing us back. I'll put my money into a family business that appreciates me as a customer every single time.

We took our mom back to Antlers for her birthday. She was born there and our family lived there until about 10 yrs ago. We chose this restaurant and we were looking forward to a good meal. Our waitress was very overwhelmed due to her being the only server and the restaurant was packed! She still did a good job. We loved the salsa, chips and cheese sauce. We each got something different to eat and it was very good. If we are back in the area, we will return!
