Los Panchos

The food was great and the service was good. It has a nice dining room inside with some tables outdoors. It's tucked away in the corner of the plaza with a covered entrance and outdoor seating area... nicely unique. Nice decor and music indoors. Margarita's not so good... was small, served warm with little ice and flavor not real good. Sangria, not so good... tasted like red wine and it had some small diced apples inside... not sangria. Recommended for food, but not mixed drinks.

First time going there. Food was delicious. Came out fast and hot. I got a fajita taco salad that was huge. My bf got the birria tacos and said they were done perfectly. Service was great. Will definitely go back. We decided to go back for my bfs bday dinner and of course for was great service was great. At the end of our meal they surprised my bf with a free dessert that was super good.

I’ve been many times over the past 5 years or so and have never been disappointed in the food. I’ve also never had to wait to be seated or wait too long for the food. My go to is the seafood chimichanga with rice and I get a side of beans. My husband loves the tamales with beef and wishes there was an entree that really featured them (he gets them ala carte with a side of rice and beans). We’ve had many of the entrees over time; spinach cream burritos, chili poblanos, the combo platters. Never had a bad or inconsistent meal. Haven’t tried it yet but glad they added carnitas and birria choices which are newer to the menu. The only detractor is the location. It’s in an alley so if you’re seated and facing the window, you have a view of an alley. Would love if they were able the at paint th

I am a bit behind in my reviews, so the lunch I enjoyed in Delmar at Los Panchos is from late 2022. This is a restaurant that had been on my radar for awhile, especially as I heard they had birria as an option. It was everything I hoped for! The dining area was more than half filled during the weekday lunch hour and the waiter was attentive. I quickly had chips and salsa delivered to my table as well as the water I requested. Birria tacos were on my mind from the beginning, so I ordered quickly. The wait was probably about 15 minutes, during which I enjoyed the child and salsa (possibly a little too much, as I had a tough time finishing the rice and beans).
