The Delmar Scoop

Had the 'Salted Carmel Brownie'. The ice cream was amazingly good. It was very rich tasting with a smooth texture. They offer a dairy free chocolate flavor. Highly recommend giving this a try. Parked in the town parking lot nearby. Could also park in the strip mall across the street, but that is much more crowded and requires crossing a busy street (for Delmar). Service was excellent with no wait. The two young men were polite and quick. They have two tables and four chairs which were adequate for 3 PM on a Saturday afternoon. When summer comes, I hope they arrange for more seating - they will need it.

This is a local ice cream shop with great people and great taste. It is for sure homemade, you can tell by how rich and creamy the ice cream is. It is clearly not bought from an outside company. The owner is a super nice and friendly local. Thanks Delmar scoops for a great experience!

Every-time we go here, everyone is super friendly. The Ice cream is delicious and portions are generous. We will be visiting even more when it is warmer outside.

Highly not recommend. The ice cream is nothing special. They buy it from some other company. Overpriced. I’ll be surprised if they last another year. Also the workers and owner was rude. This is not wrong information, your ice cream had even ice crystals on it and tasted old. It’s terrible and it’s bad that you’re trying to cover up this. Everyone listen that is reading this, this place is not worth going too. For $5 go buy any ice cream at the store and it will cost 1/4 less then what you pay here and also taste so much better. Do not waste your time or money here. They won’t won’t last long with the attitude and junk they sell

I tried this place last week with a group of friends. The place is small ( only 2 small tables) but very clean. Service was pretty fast. The had about 10-12 flavors or so to choose from. I'm glad they have dairy free options. I ordered an almond joy type flavor made from coconut milk. It was pretty good. My biggest gripe is that almost $4.85 or so for a single scoop cone. It was the smallest scoop is ice cream that I ever saw. It was only a little bit larger then a quarter. I was stunned. Other people's scoops did look a little bit bigger, but still very small. I don't like over size portions, and think places like Twist at Jericho make portion sizes way too big, but at least you get what you pay for with a $4.85 cone. I don't think I'll go back to The Scoop. I feel like I tot
