Los Molcajetes

This place is awesome! I took my wife here for Valentine’s Day today and the molcajete was absolutely phenomenal! I used to regularly go to La Unica in Smithfield but that’s changing after today! We ordered an individual mixed molacejete and shared it between the two of us and it was more than enough food. I was so surprised to see that there was only one or two other couples there eating. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for some delicious Mexican food. We WILL be coming back for not only lunch and dinner, but also breakfast as they have accommodations for that as well. Side note: their butterfly shrimp is immaculate!!!

Food was good but was missing that home cooked meal warmth to it. Not sure how to explain it, but my wife cooks with that warmth. It’s generic Mexican food, it’s get the job done and fill your belly. Came on a Saturday afternoon and were the only people here. Our server was excellent.

Food was delicious! We got an individual molcajete to share with extra tortillas. Everything was super flavorful even the beans and rice. The homemade flan was super yummy too. 10 out 10 do recommend!

I love Mexican food, but sometimes it's easy to feel like it's all roughly the same wherever you go. This was the first time in a really long time that Mexican food has made me go "WOW!". My wife and I got the molcajete to share. It was a fun presentation that just looked impressive coming out. The flavors were amazing. I was not prepared for how good that cactus was going to be! (I want more). The corn tortillas were soft and delicious. The extra sauces were delicious. Everything was top notch! Our waitress Antonela (I think) and Eddie were both very attentive and kept us topped off with chips, salsa, and drinks. Dining room was clean and comfortable. Five stars. Los Molcajetes was amazing. The waiter Carlos was top notch. He was informative and enjoyed how helpful and attentive he was. The corn tortillas were made fresh giving that extra goodness one enjoyed when eating out. I highly recommend this place.
