Not the typical Americanized restaurant. The food has an authentic taste served in authentic dishware. The chips are really good without any salsa. Add the salsa and you will eat them quicker. The soups are great. Try the Carnes en su jugo offered everyday or the Pozole Rojo on the weekends.

Los Mich is a hidden gem of a small, family run Mexican restaurant that stands out for its traditional, mouth-watering, authentic food. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the owners themselves and you can feel the love immediately. The restaurant is spotless, warm, and welcoming, and everything from the recipes to the service feels deeply intentional. The food is WOW. This is hands-down the most authentic Mexican food in Chattanooga. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients, cooked in-house, and bursting with flavor you just don’t find anywhere else in the area. Positives: Loved my birria tacos, the guac was delicious and a HUGE portion, and the chips were really good! Didn’t love: The burrito my fiancé ordered was pretty small, and when I asked if they could put the queso on the side rather than on top of the burrito, they said no, that they would have to charge it as a side. The tinga was just alright!

This place is legit, great tasting and fresh Mexican food. The chips and salsa were amazing, fresh made salsa with flavor and proper tortilla chips made on site. The beans are quite tasty and surprising healthy not doused in lard. I would go as far to say it’s the best Mexican food we’ve had in the whole area. Highly recommend.

Food is so good, and feel clean. We had fajitas and burritos, side with guacamole. The salsas and hot sauces are very good, good services. The beef in the fajitas are juice not dry or chewy at all, and not oily, we are happy with the meal. Hope more people know them and give them more support keep them open in the neighborhood.
