Los 2 Tapatios Restaurant & Taquería

Several work colleagues and I visited this Los 2 Tapatios location for Taco Tuesday prior to their grand opening on Saturday, 14 February.. This location was previously El Jacalito.. The new owners have updated the exterior paint, counter area, digital menu boards, booths and tables, the salsa bar, and some of the interior decor.. What was old seems new again.. I ordered four street tacos, two asada (steak), one pollo (chicken), and one al pastor (pork).. I also sampled two salsas and fresh radishes from the salsa bar.. The tacos were delivered quickly and each were amply portioned atop a pair of grilled corn tortillas.. All of the meats were flavorful, the onions and cilantro were fresh, and the tortillas held their own.. Service was great, too!! All of us were happy to experience the

Definitely one of the best restaurant upgrades in Midwest City. I was already familiar with their Edmond location, and I can confidently say their food is top-notch. The flavor, the original house salsas, and of course, the warm service I found at the new location definitely deserve 5 stars. Highly recommended. Dishes you absolutely must try: Quesabirrias, Macho Burrito, Birria Plate, Carne Asada in all its varieties, and for breakfast, the huevos rancheros are fantastic. I also can't forget the different soups (broths): menudo, pozole, and beef broth. I hope to visit them again soon.

I tried out Los Tapatios 2 for lunch for the first time today and was so impressed with the chicken tacos that I went back for dinner because I couldn’t wait! I’m so glad to have authentic Mexican food so close to my home and it has a drive-thru(!!) which is even more of a bonus. The ladies that helped me today were so nice and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll choose this place over the local taco trucks any day!

If you want a family vibe with authentic Mexican food this place will not disappoint. The staff is so friendly and food never disappoints. 10/10 highly recommended

Went through the drive-thru. Fast service, I order the taco plate and the food was amazing! So authentic. I will be coming back for lunch!
