Lopes Seafood

I discovered this seafood market a couple of months ago and it’s become my go-to spot for shrimp. The seafood is always super fresh and the quality is consistently amazing. The gentleman who usually helps me is always friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure I get exactly what I need. You can really tell they care about their customers and the products they sell. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good fresh seafood!

Ecstatic to discover this market. Everyone we spoke with there was super friendly and helpful. The selection of fresh fish and dried bacalhao was outstanding. We came away with a wonderful piece of tuna, but we’ll be back soon to get some of the terrific looking flounder and monkfish. Came back for monkfish and clams. Dishes like the ones pictured really depend on the quality of the ingredients…

Nice place sorta reminds me of home in NY. Very similar to the fish markets I grew up with. The fish was clean and fresh and big! Can't speak about the price since I really didn't compare. They tasted delicious! Red Snapper.

I’m very disappointed in the way this store treats its Black and Brown customers. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt unwelcoming and dismissive. Staff seemed attentive to others but barely acknowledged me or other customers of color. She seemed insulted that I walked into the store. She yelled at me because I didn’t meet the ten dollar minimum but she could have politely asked me to grab more things or not take the payment. I paid and then she tried to dismiss me. She felt insulted that I asked for a bag for my items. No one deserves to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when shopping anywhere. Businesses need to understand that respect and fairness should be shown to everyone, regardless of race or background. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes real

Well if you do not buy your seafood from Lopes' you are doing yourself a great disservice. Super fresh, and a super friendly family owned business.
