Long Black Coffee, Fountain Valley

I’m leaving a 5-star review because the team truly went above and beyond. I usually leave a note on the receipt so my girlfriend can see a message from me, and they typically just tape it to the cup. But this time, they took the extra step and beautifully wrote the message directly on the cup. I’m currently across the country, so this thoughtful gesture meant more than they probably realize. It created such a special surprise for her, and she was genuinely happy. Thank you for your care and attention to detail. It did not go unnoticed.

Excellent coffee and tea. The bake goods are OK. Great service. The place is a bit small, tough to find seats in the afternoon.

Long Black Coffee is the sister shop of Cortado. They both have the same minimalistic decor and for the most part, identical menu. We got the oksusu corn latte and Dirty London Fog which has earl grey tea and espresso. Both tastes like the description. Corn latte was sweet while the London Fog had more of an espresso taste. I really liked the corn and hope they keep it on as a permanent item on the menu. We came too early and they were still setting up the pastry displays

A great little spot I found in Fountain Valley, I orderd the hot peppermint white chocolate. It was a delightfully rich blend with its peppermint topping. It’s a nice small shop with ample parking. The seating area is generous for your studying/working needs, or if you just want to enjoy your cup of coffee. The service was friendly and they were really quick with getting all the orders out. Love this spot, would definitely come back.

Wow! This coffee is fantastic!! It’s balanced and not overly sweet ordering it as-is! Only two people working but they quickly got through the line out the door. If I lived here, I would go here daily. Highly highly highly recommend.
