Finally have time to leave a review. I LOVE this library!! Visit here about twice a week after work to read my books and it's perfect for me. Lots of activities and events for your kids, they can be a little loud and it's no problem. It IS an older library, so if you are looking for outlets or more privacy, this location is not for you. Overall, I recommend it if you don't mind some noise and need a small intimate library to study/work. Edit: Added pictures

This is a small library. Decent classics section. Good for children.. not sure if for children and parents of color.. it would be bit comfortable because there is little to none. Anyways, it resembles a daycare.. kids screaming and talking loudly.. parents talking too with each other. Some days, at certain times, it is quiet and is nice because it has comfy chairs. Also, bring your electronics charged because there are VERY little to no outlets.

Nice spot for kids. It’s a pleasant place to bring children to do homework, read, and learn. There are small play areas where kids can interact and have fun with others. Overall, a calm and family-friendly environment

I must be candid. If you are looking for a quiet place to read or study, this library is not it. Inside the library is a children’s play area. It is not in a separate room, nor behind glass, it is in an open section of the library. The children are allowed to scream, to cry, to make noise, and to play as children do. This can be heard clear as day throughout the library. In my opinion, this sort of environment is not conducive to the quiet sanctuary that is the library. I am sorry I am unable to leave a higher rating for this South Bay library. Thank you for reading.

I didn’t catch the girls name that helped me out with creating a PDF file email today. She was outstanding and very informative, such a nice person! Thank you for your help.
